What is blue light?

Blue Light is naturally present in day light and it helps us to stay awake. It is also artificially emanated by low energy consumption illumination , by LCD and LED screens  of smartphones, tablets, computers, tv and GPS devices. It is also known as High Energy Visible Light. By continuous improving of these screens' quality , it is improved also the blue light emission. Excessive quantities can have  anegativ e effect and be cause of fatiguing for the eyes.

Technically, blue light:

 - it is part of the light visible between 380 nm until about  nm

 - it direclty affetcs the production of melatonin hormone

 - it affects the circadian cycle (biological clock and sleep-wake rhythm)
