How do glasses for blind people work?

Thanks to a video camera installed on a frame realized thanks to a  3D Printer,  it is possible to send some files in video version to an application installed on a smartphone that, in turn, codifies the colors, texts, shapes and sends them back again through a vocal message, to the device.
