Vitamin B2 and C
Vitamin B2 is strictly linked to the good funtioning of sight and to maintenance of eyes health: its deficiency, in fact, could cause burning sensation, light sensitivity, itch, lachrymation, until to paralysis of eyes muscles. This vitamin is present in liver, cereals, yeast, and eggs.
Vitamin C, also, the antioxidant par exellance, has a leading role for eyes health; together with Vitamin E, in fact, protects the organism against attack free radicals . For this reason, Vitamin C could be a good help to prevent some degenrative eyes pathologies . VitaminaC is useful in treating glaucoma and could contrast progressive loss of sight , avoiding " the hardening" of the eye . It is also used for prevention of corneal ulcer and it keeps away unfections. It is preent in vegetables, particularly in lemon and citrus fruits, in wide leaves vegetables, in strawberries, peppers,tomatoes, and cauliflower.
